Pier Paolo Pandolfi specialized at the London National Institute for Medical Research and at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School. As a doctoral student he headed a laboratory at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He holds the Chair of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics at the Weill College of Cornell University di New York. Currently he is the Scientific Director of the Cancer Centre of the BIDMC and of the Boston Harvard Medical School. He teacher Molecular Biology at the University of Turin. He has been awarded honours by the President of the Republic of Italy, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the London Royal College of Physicians.
