In November 2018 the astrophysicist Federico Nati took off for a mission to Antarctica as part of an international team. The mission was risky and ambitious: they had to send a three ton telescope into the stratosphere to study the origin of stars and of the Cosmos. Scientists had to  negotiate the difficulties of the experiment, increased by the unfriendly polar environment: they had to complete a project an experiment they had spent years on and which their careers depended on. Federico Nati will tell us the human and professional story that started on the top of the volcanoes in the Atacama desert in Chile via the most advanced US labs to the great Antarctic whiteness. An intense and passionate story, just like an adventure book.
