FROM ONLINE MUTIPLAYER GAMES TO STREAMED VIDEOGAMES

The conference is addressed to the students from  first three years of  secondary school, who will be dealing with a world well known to them, the world of videogames. The meeting will start by looking at the best known apps and platforms and the new ones released  on the market -Google Stadia and Apple Arcade first and foremost- then touching on the complex ecosystem around the Game Industry and its  multifaceted job market. We will discuss topics such as managing your own data and how valuable data are for the companies. the meeting will give students the necessary to become more aware and help them understand how to transform this means of communication into an opportunity for personal and professional improvement.

Daniele Biolatti

Biolatti studied as an occupational and organisational psychologist and has been researching digital and the Web for about twenty years. In the early 2000s he was became in e- and distance learning, as well as digital marketing and online communication. For over five years he has been working on mobile marketing and mobile strategy. He was the IT manager for the phone directory company (PagineBianche), the most important residential and business directory in Italy. He contributed to the launch and maintenance of some of the most downloaded mobile apps in Italy, and teaches Mobile Marketing at the Master’s in Digital Marketing at the Digital-Coach in Milan. He is currently Head of Marketing at Synesthesia Srl, a Turin-based digital nationally and internationally known company.

Marco Mazzaglia

Mazzaglia worked as IT Manager and Video Game Evangelist for Milestone from 2008 to 2013 dealing with the design management of development systems and architecture for online gaming. Together with others at the end of 2013, he established the T-Union, an association that promotes the Game Industry and videogame culture in Italy and brings the Global Game Jam event to Turin. In 2015 he worked as IT Manager in Ovosonico. Since 2016 he has worked as Business Developer and Video Game Evangelist for Synesthesia and MixedBag working on original titles such as "forma.8", "Avery" and "Waking Violet" (multiplatform PC, console and iOS) and conversions of independent titles on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
